Off to the Library

So Madeline eats 7-8 times a day which takes 30-45 minutes a time with burping, diaper changing and sitting her up to minimize spit up (she is a spitty kid!). Therefore, I try to read to her at least half of these times for both of our enjoyment and to pass the time...we received a number of children's books for gifts for Madeline, however, most of these books are the small infant board books that I am sure will come in handy when she is a little older...however, they take roughly 1 minute to read and do not accomplish our goal of passing the time...after the 100th reading of each of our books, I resorted to reading out loud what I was reading - "Open", Andre Agassi's autobiography (highly recommended), which she said she liked, but I figured it was time for some new kids books...so this morning we made our first trip to the Chanhassen library, I can't tell you the last time I stepped foot in a library, but have many fond childhood memories at the library, so it was fun to bring Madeline along.

I just wish the library was like netflix so you could just throw it in the mail when you were done as I am already anticipating the late fees!
