Chains

I remember in nursery school or grade school making links/chains to signify the days leading up to an anticipated event...like Christmas.

Madeline and I decided to create our own chain this morning with 8 links to show how many days we have to wait to...SEE NANA AND PAPA!!



We wrestled with maybe just doing 7 links for how many days until we leave to see nana and papa, but none of us are really anticipating the nice long drive across Nebraska :).

In normal fashion, I propped Madeline up to take some pictures and she LOVED playing with the paper in her lap! Proof our kids don't need expensive toys...just some scrapbooking scraps for entertainment.
