6 weeks turns into 7....

I have received some slack from some of our avid readers that there has been a lack of posts lately...I think I spoiled you all with the daily posts as Madeline and I hung around the house during month one while we figured each other out...now that I trust her in public...we have been making outings nearly daily to visit friends or run errands...and with the standard eating, playing schedule, as well as my obsession with the olympics, it hasn't left me with much time! I can guarantee there are still plenty of pictures and video to capture the time that I have been blog slacking...

I will start with her 6 week pics...these are some of my favorite pictures with one of my favorite little outfits! Seriously...what gets cuter than a strawberry sweatsuit, especially when there is a strawberry on the butt! And it was one of the first smiles we have caught on camera...she is always in such a good mood in the mornings...and this week she has been showing that beautiful smile even more often!!



The strawberry outfit didn't last too long and we were back upstairs changing into outfit number 2 for the day. My friend Laura stopped by with her adorable little girl Laney -- who was celebrating her first birthday (Happy Birthday Laney!!) -- as I was watching Madeline fast asleep in her swing, I couldn't get over the changes that take place in a year! Laney was moving all over the house, playing with tons of toys and my favorite making funny faces :). It is absolutely insane in what changes in a year!


Madeline and I baked some cookies for Nana and Papa for Valentine's day - good thing there was a couple of dozen left over for us :). As you can see...Madeline is very serious about her baking - Papa Kaufman is requesting that pies be her next endeavor...I think we will stick with cookies for now :).

Jeremy and I decided to hit up a happy hour at Kona Grill in Eden Prairie as I was craving some time outside of the house and some Sushi that I haven't had since before I was pregnant!
You can gaurantee at least once a week, little Madeline will be watching KU with her papa - we had given this onsie to some friends of ours that are Nebraska fans as a joke and received it back upon Madeline's arrival. Jeremy takes every opportunity to put it on her even though it is still a couple of months too big...

I will do some separate posts on our valentines day as well as Mikko's outdoor adventures that rounded out our week but here are her 7 week pictures...the outfit is a hand me down from her cousin Elisa and is absolutely adorable! She wasn't as cooperative as week 6, but I will take what I can!
