Sunday, Sunday, Sunday...

I made a deal with the devil and let Jeremy sit outside playing with the girls for an hour so I could clean the house before another busy week began. You would be surprised how much you can get done in an hour without the baby and dog and especially when there is the temptation of a beautiful spring day to pull you outdoors.

Jeremy did capture some pics of Madeline's nap time on her mat under a tree...Mikko of course had to snuggle in...we wouldn't expect any different :).


As a reward for a clean house, we went out to the Arboretum to check out the spring flowers. It is crazy how much things change in a week. Last week there were only daffodils...this week all of the tulips and magnolia trees were in full bloom and the lilacs don't look like they are far behind.

We ended the weekend with a trip to the Capital Grille for a belated birthday dinner with Jeremy's parents and aunt and uncle.  We have never been disappointed with the amazing food there - Jeremy an I both had to be rolled back into the car as we were so full!  Madeline did have a nice little blowout (always fun in a public place - if we were at home, I would have thrown her into the tub!) and decided she only wanted to walk, bounce and stand for an hour or so, so I got a nice tour of some of my favorite downtown locations - rock bottom, palomino...

This has been such an amazing spring - I only want it to end if summer promises to be just as nice!
