Happy Easter!

The greatest part about Easter this year was that it was a 4 day weekend for me (3 days for Jeremy) as our daycare was closed on Thursday - too bad it was 75 degrees and sunny!!

After a walk with Mikko in the morning, Madeline and I headed to the big city to take papa for lunch.  I was craving sushi so we went to a smaller place around the corner from Jeremy's office and the sushi was outstanding - it had been WAY too long!

Jeremy also treated us for a walk down by the river before he had to go back to work...

Madeline and I spent the remainder of the afternoon playing and napping on the porch while entertaining Mikko in the backyard.

Good Friday wasn't as good for weather - but any day is good when you aren't working!  We met with our financial planner and went out to lunch at Granite City.  As the weather was dreary, we did some chores around the house and treated ourselves with some beers at Jake O'Connors - an Irish pub in Excelsior.  Great bar - great beer - highly recommended!

Saturday was daffodil days (previous post) and Sunday was Easter.  After finding our easter baskets (pretty tough when they were on the center island), Madeline spent some time in her new (from cousin Elisa) bouncy toy.  Then we headed up to New Brighton to spend some time with the family.  Who knew that bunny ears could be so much fun!
