There were 2 surgeries (one for a sock, the other for a nylon), a trip to the puppy dermotologist for a 6 month battle with fur loss and more trips to the vet than I can care to count!
But she has been such an amazing dog that none of this seems to matter :). She has such a fun spirit and a loving personality that I wouldn't have picked another one (although I would have signed up for pet insurance much earlier!). We hope there are many more to come!

Mikko has brought you much excitement in her first year. Can't believe its already been a year. Hope she brings much joy and less expense in year 2!
Yeah! I made the blog photos!! Quite a feat considering the number of states between us. So sorry I missed out on Mikko's celebration and many of Madeline's first milestones. However, we booked plane tickets home 6/30 - 7/6. Can't wait to see you all!
