Saturday was for the Dogs...

Saturday was definitely one of Mikko's favorite days.  We started off the day with a trip to the dog park...Mikko's favorite activity!  She starts whining about a mile from the park, and has a smile on her face the entire time we are there!  When we got there, we realized that as silly new parents, we forgot a hat for Madeline, which normally wouldn't be a big deal in a Minnesota April, but it was such a beautiful day out, we were feeling guilty for not protecting her...so her hat was a little big, but she didn't seem to mind!

For Mikko's birthday, we decided to get her tickets to the Swarm (professional lacrosse) game.  Or maybe we just thought it was a really fun idea that you could bring your dog to the Excel Energy Center.  Jeremy and I are always talking that it is fun to have events where the dogs can be involved, and this was a great one!  Mikko had a great time walking around the Excel and socializing with the other pups...all the dogs were so well behaved!  By the 4th quarter, she was fast asleep on both of our laps...a sign of a great day!
