We're Gonna Win Twins! We're Gonna Score!

Until last night that is :(

Regardless, a few weeks ago, we planned on attending last Thursday night's game with our friends Jared, Joan, and their son, Zach. This would be Zach's first Twin's game (that he will be able to remember that is).

It is always a lot of fun attending a baseball game at the Metrodome (no sarcasm here;).

Ironically, we reached our seats and found that we were sitting right behind Ironmen. Here are John's friends who also tackled that amazing feat at the beginning of September in Madison.

Before we even arrived at the game. We knew we were in for a treat. The Twins were on the verge of sweeping the White Sox and taking command of the division. When it was all over, we were all able to enjoy, arguably, one of the best games the Twins have been involved in. At least in the last few years.
The Twins were down 6-1 going into the eighth inning. However, after I threw on my rally cap...

...the Twins overcame the deficit to tie the score. Eventually, they won the game in extra innings. We, in collaboration of all the other fans in the Dome, cheered until our voices were raspy.

What a fantastic game, and a fantastic evening!

Well, besides the buffalo sauce incident at Matty B's, which seemed to target only my shirt and jeans. A story to be told at a different time :)
