The Week of Baby Madeline!

After a long day on Wednesday, Madeline and Kate were released from the hospital. The day was especially long considering we were promised that we would be discharged after Madeline was evaluated by the pediatrician. This took place at like 9:30. Finally, at 2:30, we confronted the nurse about the discharge, who responded with an, "oh yeah, that's right!"

Thanks to all our visitors on Tuesday! It at least made that day in the hospital fly by. Here are some photos from our days in the hospital...



Back at home, we had the luxury of having Nana and grandpa Kaufman to give us a hand with baby care (snuggling). We were able to hand Madeline off to each other as we ate dinner, watched football, and or completed some chores.

Fisher, uncle John and auntie Kate also came over a few nights last week to hang out, and also to celebrate Grandpa's birthday.

Sadly, the grandparents, cousin, and aunt and uncle headed back to their respective homes in Denver and D.C. this weekend. They will be missed!
