Letters from Madeline...

Just a quiet day at home...we had my parents here for a couple of days after Madeline was born as well as aunt Kate, uncle John and crazy cousin Fischer - it was so nice to have some extra pairs of hands, although little Madeline had to get used to not snuggling in her Nana's arms all day long! We also spent the day at the Kirschbaum's yesterday meeting cousin Elisa and Auntie Heidi as well as some neighbors, aunts and uncles and of course Grandma Jan and Granpa Stu.

After Jeremy left for work this AM (boo) Madeline and I declared it snuggle day monday and decided to relax in bed most of the morning. It is crazy to think how crazy my life used to be and I am just as happy now staring at a sleeping infant for hours on end...

When she got up, she wanted to practice her handwriting...amazing how far it has come in only 6 short days...but she had a couple of messages to get out there...
