Surrender Your Booty...

In our haste to cover all of the events over the 4th of July, we neglected to post our first wet Wednesday water ski/wake board event! Maybe I was trying to avoid posting any pictures in a swimsuit :). The weather was great and we were able to hit the road at a decent time to arrive at the Schaffer's cabin on Bone Lake in Wisconsin we had to fight off Shaffer's neighbors (aka pirates) to enter the waters of Bone Lake. We loaded up the board, skis and a couple of brews for a night out on the lake. The winds were slightly more aggressive in Wisconsin than they were when we left MN, but we were able to find some small areas out on the lake that weren't too treacherous! The boys quickly picked up their summer form, and after some small coaxing to get me in the water, I had a blast on the skis as well -- until my last fall that landed me on my back in the water! We are heading up to Schaffer's again this weekend, so I am sure we will more pictures and blunders to share :)
