If there was such a thing as a half birthday :)...

Madeline celebrated her 6 months at the end of June - how quickly the first 6 months have flown by!  It seems like every months brings so many different experiences and her personality is emerging more and more each month!

Madeline LOVED blocks.  It was actually the first time I heard her giggle when she knocked down a block tower - and I made an exploding noise :).  She loved playing with them - especially knocking them over.

It was fun to start feeding her solid food.  The first day she really didn't know what to think of it, but quickly learned to love both rice and oatmeal.

She is still fairly inconsistent with her napping and bedtimes, but continues to be a pretty laid back baby and doesn't seem to be too affected by the days of 20 minute cat naps or later bed times (although her parents prefer it to be before 9 for their own sanity).

She started rolling over with a little more grace and less effort.  She is starting to show some interest in actually moving places (more on that in month 7 :).

We also had some pictures professionally taken by Jacquie Danz Photography.  I have a friend that took her 2 week pictures, but is expecting a baby of her own this fall, so I knew we would need to find a new photographer for our fall family picture.  For some reason, I am having a hard time uploading pictures, but attached is the slideshow.
