NYC Day 1 - Familiar Traveling Companions

We left for NYC early last Thursday morning. We started the long weekend off right with some quality pictures at MSP International Airport.
We found a third wheel in our backpack...

Yes, that is a stuffed chicken. He has seen Hawaii and Colorado. Why not NYC?

After landing in NYC, we caught a late lunch at Carnegie Hall Deli. We ate a huge brisket sandwich.
After lunch we headed over to Times Square to try to score some tickets to a Broadway show.

After getting our tickets we went to an Irish Pub for a few drinks.

We found that Irish Pub in NYC means that they serve Guinness. There are no other Irish beers served.

On the walk home we found 30 Rock, which we would find many more times this trip.

After getting ready for our 8:00 show, we stopped for appetizers.

The show we ended up selecting was Boeing, Boeing. This decision was made based upon recommendations from friends and the StarTribune.

Kate decided to do her best impersonation of a Boeing in front of the Boeing, Boeing sign.

We took one shot in the theater, to the dismay of the theater staff.

After the show we called it a night, as we figured we had a full day of activities set up for Friday.
