Deccing Duluth

Last Saturday, we headed up to Duluth for some hiking, hockey, and a couple of drinks with the Cannon Clan.

Kate and I headed up early in the day and did a quick hike near the Duluth Zoo.

 

It was a tad chilly, as I demonstrated above. Regardless, we braved the elements and headed up the hill for some spectacular scenery.

 

  

  

  

After the hike, we had to have a beer at the Fitger's brew pub. We then met up the Cannon's and headed for a quick dinner at Old Chicago before we headed off to the Decc for the UMD vs. Wisconsin Hockey Game.

Between periods we were able to pose with UMD's mascot Champ.

 

  

After the game we headed to Grandma's for Kamikaze pitchers. We had to play our obligatory game of Big Buck Hunter.

 

  

The Miller girls' conned us into Cornhole. If we sunk three of four shots we can win a prize. Finally, after three attempts Jeff and I were able to win some really cool hats.

After Grandma's, we headed back to Fitger's Brew Pub and then next door to some wierd dance club.

 

We finally called it a night, real late. We tried to walk a straight line home.

 

However, we had difficulty just seeing the line :) With that we ended a fun night in Duluth.
