State Fair Madness!!!

Last Thursday, Kate and I headed out to the MN State Fair.

We started out as we always do by eating a pickle (cucumber) on a stick.

We then headed over to the Miracle of Birth barn, where we saw some baby ducks, goats, pigs, and cows.






After the Miracle of Birth Barn, we met up with Brian and Megan and we really started making the rounds. We ate cheese curds, turkey drummies, fried snickers, mini-donuts, corn on the cob, mac and cheese on a stick, tater tots on a stick, pronto pups, and Sweet Martha Cookies. In between the food rounds, we rode the giant slide and played skee ball. Jeremy even paid a visit to Smokey the Bear!















We were also able to pay a visit to the Twin's tent. We all go to pose with the M & M boys. Jeremy and Brian were even able to pull Hrbek away from gorging on fair food to pose for a pic.





Kate has had a string of bad luck recently. Finally, she was able to pout about this to her mummy.

After the rounds of fun and food, we caught a great live free show: Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings. She was amazing and fun! It is a definite must see live act.

To cap the night Brian and Jeremy posed with a hedge moose!


Another year of state fair fun is on the log. Sadly, this marks the end of summer; we tend to find fun in all seasons. Fall is no exception!
