Biking for Ice Cream

John Grisham wrote a book called "Playing for Pizza" about an American Football player shipped to Italy due to a defunct career in the states. If he were to write a book about bicycling, I am sure that he would formulate it around us. Our motivation for riding is to find a mom and pop ice cream shop and make this the half-way point for our ride.

This ride brought us through downtown Minneapolis to the Cedar Trail. From the Cedar Trail to the Kenilworth trail. From the Kenilworth Trail around Lake Calhoun and Lake Harriet to the Minnehaha Creek Trail.

The ice cream stop was The Pumphouse Creamery on Chicago Ave near Lake Nokomis. Unfortunately, we seemed to have forgot that we had the camera once we reached the Ice Cream stop.

When it was all said and done, we had pedaled 22 miles and ate 2 delicious scoops of ice cream.
