Trip to Denver - Days 1 through 3

In the middle of February, we had yet another brief visit to Denver to visit Nana and Papa. Trips to Denver are always so great. Especially, since we do not have to transport a bunch of Maddie's stuff, I.E our recent trip to Cali (post coming soon).

Leaving MN it was bitterly cold. Arriving in Denver, was no different. Fortunately, we arrived late enough that we just logged some indoor play time before bed time.



Thursday, the weather turned for the best. It was 50's even into the 60's through the weekend we were there. Thursday morning entailed some more tent play time along with some wagon time.







After play time the girls went shopping while the boys watched Maddie nap. Of course watching Maddie nap entailed drinking beers at a BJ's Brewhouse. Yummy!

Later on we went ice skating.





Friday, we did a quick hike at Button Rock with Madster.







Maddie wanted to hike too.





But sometimes it is easier to take in the scenery from dad's shoulders...



...or from your private chariot...



Thus ended our quality time with Maddie and Papa, and it was time to move on the ski slopes.
