We spent Christmas eve at the Kirschbaums...

The Kaufman's ventured over on Christmas day...a serious improvement from last year when my parents were stuck in a snowstorm in Kearny Nebraska and Jeremy and I were at the animal hospital awaiting Mikko's nylon eating surgery. This year was wonderfully uneventful!!
This gift was for Jens, but Madeline and Fischer loved it!

Some cute pics of the kids...

Madeline loved looking at the tree and the presents under it...she threw all of the presents out of this red sled and was obsessed with it! crawling in and out of it and wanting rides around the house...I guess that is what she asked Santa for this year!

She also got a little people farm that she liked so much she sat on it...

I bought all of the kiddos matching pajamas

A wonderful first christmas!!

Sunday we had Jens' baptism...they decided to do a full emersion, unfortunately for Jens, they forgot to warm up the water a little bit. Naked baby boy was not real fond of the cold splash of father son and holy spirit! But Fischer thought it was pretty funny and asked the priest to do it again!

We also got some skating in...the ice was a little rough but was nice to get outside and enjoy some winter fun!

We also were able to squeeze in some birthday fun and some formal family pictures! The week flew by and I definitely had some empty nest syndrome after having a full house all week. Good thing we booked some time in Denver this winter!!
