Green Thumb

There is just something about growing your own veggies that is so fun to me. We are finally starting to be able to use some of the "fruits" of our labor...our tomatoes and jalapenos are ripening up. The jalapenos went in a bean salsa for a barbeque on Saturday night. The tomatoes went in a caprese salad with fresh basil from our garden as well! We took it easy this year with the new house and everything that went into it...but we hope to expand our garden out next summer - although, I may be kidding myself with a little one on the way!

Janis - I also took some pics of some of the flowers/plants we planted so you could see how they are doing. the flowers are beautiful and the vine is climbing all over the mailbox...we may need some help with how to work with it as it is looking a little crazy out there right now!
