A Very Kaufman Christmas - Part 1

Alright it is a month and a half since we ventured west to celebrate the holiday's with the other half of the family; better late than never.

Our trip began bright and early Saturday, January 17. After landing, we stopped for a breakfast. Then, we headed back to the Kaufman home to drop off our luggage real quick before heading to Boulder for the KU vs. CU basketball game.

 

 

 

 After the game we did have to celebrate a great victory!

While we were at the game, John and Fischer arrived from D.C. Fischer greeted us with a piano recital.

  

Sunday, Kate and I went for a hike in Boulder. Unfortunately, we did not snap any pics :(

Monday, we headed off to Winter Park. We had three great blue sky days and virtually empty slopes.

 

 

 Of course we had to stop at the snoasis for a beer, or two.

 

The snow and weather was so good that even Fischer wanted a piece of the action.

 

After skiing on Wednesday, we headed back down the mountain back to the beautiful 70 degree weather. Thus, began the second half of our Kaufman Christmas.
