Family Pictures

We kicked off the previous weekend with a 'Run for the Apples' at Pine Tree Apple Orchard in White Bear Lake.

We were able to talk Catherine and her family into this beautiful run through the apple orchards, pumpkin patches and strawberry fields. It was a great run followed by some apple cider, apples and apple donuts (thanks Ken) and we decided it was a good opportunity to try to capture some family pictures of the Graeve's as we had a good camera and the most BEAUTIFUL fall day.

We continually tried to get all the Graeve's in the same place at the same time. Then we struggled to get shy Nora to smile at the camera and Owen to release his grip on the apple he was eating -- as you will see we won some of the battles, but not all.  And I wonder why there are very few family pictures of my own when my brother and I were this young -- I guess I now know it may have not been due to a lack of trying!  We were rewarded with a few that may make the fridge someday!
