Turkey Day

I always get so excited for the long weekend...and it always goes by WAY too fast!  We had such a great combination of spending time with family and friends and spending some relaxing time at home.

We headed up to the Kirschbaum's in the afternoon for a wonderful Thanksgiving feast with family and friends.  Madeline has been opening her mouth wide like a little birdie at the sight of any food.  We are hoping she is going through a growth spurt as we feel like we are constantly feeding her!  And Thanksgiving was no different...she didn't know what to think of the Turkey at first, but quickly realized why we all love thanksgiving...

Friday we headed out to Z's Trees to cut down our tree. We didn't capture any pictures of the cutting as the next tractor was already there to pick us up. Here is a picture of the tree when we picked it out in October. Z's is dog friendly, so Mikko joined us on the hayride through the trees and was the hit amongst all of the children -- sorry if there are kids asking for puppies for christmas.
