Marie Becker had been dilligently trying to organize 4 couples for a progressive dinner. What we found out is that even in our 30s we all have challenging social calendars!! Looks like we have an opportunistic bunch as we all took advantage of the market and had moved from apartments, condos and smaller houses into larger spaces, 3 of us in the suburbs!
We started off at Sarah and Jeff's house in Victoria so we could spend some quality time with Allie before heading east...the Cannon's nearly ruined our appetites as they served delicious steak appetizers and had other snacks that we couldn't keep our hands out of - and we had 3 houses to go!
Next was a short jaunt to our place where we made uncle Brad's chicken tostadas...leave it to us to have a picture of the food but not of the two of us!
Off to Tim and Marie's place in Wayzata/Minnetonka. Tim served some specialty cocktails (up north mojitos??) while he was out grilling steak, chicken and veggies!
Our final stop was in St. Louis Park for some delicious cupcakes at Brian and Megan's house.
It has been fun letting everyone predict the sex of baby K, Marie was convinced that the ring test would revel the baby's true colors....which also predicted girl!
Some final group pictures before calling it a night! 4 great couples, 4 great houses and promises to make it an annual event...hopefully it won't take us 6 months to find a date again!! Great idea Marie!
